The choice depends on the environment: Anodizing (minimum 10-15 microns) is ideal for coastal areas to prevent salt corrosion. Powder coating offers the widest color range and should meet Qualicoat standards for UV resistance. For a premium look, Electrophoresis provides a smooth, mirror-like finish that is highly resistant to scratches and fading.

To meet modern energy-saving building codes, prioritize profiles with a Thermal Break (Polyamide strip PA66GF25). This significantly reduces heat transfer. For soundproofing, ensure the profile design supports double or triple glazing with a thickness of at least 20mm to 32mm. Check for U-value ratings to confirm thermal efficiency.

Check the wall thickness of the profile; for sliding windows, a thickness of 1.2mm to 2.0mm is standard, while heavy-duty doors may require 2.0mm to 3.0mm. Ensure the design includes independent drainage channels to prevent water leakage and anti-lift blocks to prevent the window sash from being removed from the outside for security.

Aluminum profiles are prone to scratching. Require the supplier to use protective film on each profile, followed by EP foam wrapping and waterproof craft paper. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, insist on wooden crate packaging or steel pallets to prevent bending during loading and unloading.

Request a CAD drawing approval process before mass production begins. Tolerance levels should strictly follow GB/T 5237 (High Precision Level) or international equivalents. It is highly recommended to pay for a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) where a third party measures the cross-sections and checks the fit of corner connectors and weather stripping.

Due to the length of profiles (often 5.8m or 6m), they are best suited for 20GP or 40HC containers. If your profiles are longer than 5.8m, you must use a 40HC container. Use FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over freight costs and choose a forwarder experienced in handling over-length cargo to avoid unexpected surcharges.
