Additionally, dynamic balance testing (G2.5 or G6.3 grade) is mandatory to prevent vibration, reduce noise, and extend the motor's lifespan.

To prevent oxidation and enhance aesthetics, specify anodizing, powder coating, or electrophoresis. For outdoor or chemical plant usage, anodized coatings should be at least 10-15 microns thick to ensure long-term protection against environmental degradation.

Products should adhere to ISO 9001 for quality management. For specific applications, ensure compliance with RoHS (restriction of hazardous substances) and CE marking if the blades are part of a motorized assembly intended for the European market. For HVAC systems, look for AMCA (Air Movement and Control Association) certified performance data.

Aluminum blades are susceptible to bending. Insist on customized plywood crates or reinforced honeycomb cardboard packaging with individual foam slots for each blade. Avoid simple bulk stacking. Ensure the contract includes a quality claim clause for physical deformation exceeding 0.5% of the batch.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site inspections by third-party agencies like SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Review their production capacity (monthly output) and check if they have in-house dynamic balancing equipment, which is a key indicator of a professional manufacturer versus a middleman.

Aluminum is a commodity with volatile pricing. Negotiate a price adjustment formula linked to the LME (London Metal Exchange) or SMM (Shanghai Metals Market) index. This ensures transparency and protects both parties from sudden raw material price spikes during long-term contracts.

For large industrial fan blades, FOB (Free On Board) is recommended as it allows the buyer to control freight costs and choose a carrier experienced in handling fragile metal components. For smaller precision blades, CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) may be more convenient, but ensure the insurance policy covers 'All Risks'.
