Always verify the supplier's Business License and Export Qualification on Made-in-China.com. Use third-party inspection services (like SGS or Intertek) to perform an In-line Inspection and a Final Random Inspection (FRI) before the balance payment is made. This prevents the risk of receiving sub-standard goods that do not match the approved sample.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). If the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is too high, suggest using stock fabrics (available colors) to reduce the limit. For large volumes, ask for a 3-5% discount or request that the supplier covers the cost of customized branding/packaging. Mention your intent for a long-term partnership to secure better 'Tier 2' pricing.

Apparel is volume-heavy; use vacuum packaging to reduce the cubic meter (CBM) volume and save on freight costs.
