Always verify the IP65 or higher ingress protection rating for the control panel to withstand washdown procedures.

Look for 'Quick-Release' designs that allow for tool-less disassembly, which significantly reduces downtime during product changeovers. Evaluate the sealing technology; high-quality feeders use air-purged seals to prevent fine powders from entering the bearing housing.
