The choice of material is critical for durability. For indoor sculptures, Grade 304 is generally sufficient as it offers good corrosion resistance. The visual impact depends on the finish. Common options include Mirror Polishing (8K), which requires meticulous hand-buffing to eliminate visible seams; Brushed/Satin finish, which is better at hiding fingerprints; and PVD Coating for vibrant colors like gold or rose gold. Ensure the supplier uses automotive-grade paint if a colored finish is required to prevent peeling and UV fading.

For large installations, the sculpture must have an internal skeleton (usually galvanized steel or stainless steel) to withstand wind loads and gravity.
