You should also request integration of load cells for real-time inventory monitoring and ensure the PLC control system is compatible with your factory's existing SCADA or ERP software via protocols like Modbus or Profinet.

The biggest risks are structural damage during transit and high shipping costs due to oversized dimensions. To mitigate this, consider bolted/sectional silos which can be packed into standard containers, or ensure the supplier uses heavy-duty steel cradles and sea-worthy packaging for welded one-piece units.
