For upholstery, specify solution-dyed acrylic fabrics (like Sunbrella or high-grade Spuncrylic) which offer Level 4-5 colorfastness to light, ensuring the cushions won't fade within one season.

Wicker furniture is high-volume. To maximize container utilization, prioritize KD (Knock-Down) designs over fully assembled pieces, which can increase loading quantity by 30-50%. Ensure the supplier uses 5-layer corrugated cardboard packaging with corner protectors and bubble wrap to prevent friction damage during long-haul sea freight.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for spare parts (such as extra feet caps or a small roll of matching rattan) to be included at no cost. For large orders, request a staged payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% against BL copy) and use secured payment services to protect your capital until the goods are shipped.
