High modulus one component construction joint MS modified silicone adhesive

MS polymer adhesive sealant is a one-component, moisture-curing elastic bonding and sealing material based on silyl-modified polyether resin. Its molecular structure features a polyether backbone terminated with hydrolyzable silicone groups, which crosslink upon exposure to ambient moisture. MS adhesives combine the weather resistance of silicone sealants with the bonding strength of polyurethane adhesives, enabling simultaneous bonding and sealing functions.

Polyurethane adhesive sealant is a one-component reactive bonding and sealing material based on polyurethane prepolymer. it cures through ambient moisture, which permeates from the adhesive surface inward; isocyanate end groups react with moisture to form a carbamic acid derivative, releasing CO2 and further crosslinking to form a polyurea structure. PU adhesives offer excellent mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and adhesion, making elastic bonding.

For structural bonding and sealing of front, rear, and side window glass to vehicle bodies in cars, buses, trucks, and engineering vehicles. The adhesive must provide high shear strength, anti-sagging properties, shock absorption, and sufficient initial grab to prevent glass slippage during curing.
