Q:Is this PET film compatible with pigment ink? How does it perform compared with dye ink?
A:
Answer: Yes, it is fully compatible with both water based dye inks and pigment inks. Our filmfeatures a micro porous ink-receptive coating that works excellently with both types.
With dye ink, you get higher colour saturation and superior transparency ideal for window
displays and double sided viewing.
With pigment ink, you benefit from much stronger UV resistance and outdoor durability, with
less fading over time.
Important: This film is designed only for water based inks.
Q:What thicknesses and sizes are available? Can I order custom dimensions?
A:
Our standard thickness is 100 micron (approx. 0.1 mm, excluding the liner). This offers a good
balance - rigid enough to prevent curling and feed smoothly through printers, yet flexible for
screen-making and application. We also offer 120 micron, 125 micron, and custom thicknesses
from 50 micron to 188 micron upon request.
Q:What is the difference between the waterproof and non-waterproof versions? Which one should I choose?
A:
Waterproof version - The coating is fully water-resistant after printing. Once the ink dries, the
image will not run or smear when exposed to water or high humidity. This version is
recommended for window decals, glass displays, outdoor signage, and any application where
moisture or cleaning is expected.
