Our syrup bottles are categorized as USP Type III (soda-lime glass). They are excellent for neutral or mildly acidic oral liquid preparations, such as standard cough syrups, vitamins, and liquid antibiotics. If your formulation is highly alkaline or extremely sensitive to pH shifts caused by sodium ion leaching, we suggest testing or modifying the formula with buffers, or evaluating Type I borosilicate glass.

The most common neck finish for our oral liquid/syrup bottles is the PP28 (Pilfer Proof 28mm) neck finish, which is the global standard for tamper-evident aluminum or plastic roll-on closures. Many of our syrup molds feature an integrated pour-lip (anti-drip ring) to ensure clean, spill-free dispensing of medication by the end user.

Our standard molded syrup lines are produced in standard international pharmaceutical volumes: 30 ml, 60 ml, 100 ml, 125 ml, 150 ml, 180 ml, 200 ml, 250 ml, 300 ml, and 500 ml. We maintain highly standardized dimensions for these capacities to match global high-speed filling line star-wheels and guide rails.

We perform destructive testing on a statistically valid sample from each production run according to the USP <660> surface glass test. The containers are filled with high-purity, carbon-dioxide-free water, autoclaved at 121degrees Celsius for 60 minutes, and the extract is titrated with acid to confirm that the alkali secretion complies with the specified limits for Type III glass.

Yes. Many liquid nutraceuticals and natural herbal syrups are filled hot (between 70 degrees Celsiusand 85 degrees Celsius) to achieve pasteurization. Because our glass undergoes strict annealing to eliminate internal residual stresses, our syrup bottles can handle hot-filling, provided the initial temperature difference between the bottle and the liquid does not exceed our rated thermal shock limits (~40 degrees Celsius). Pre-heating the bottles is recommended for extreme hot-fill setups.
