Yes, depending on surface coating: Waterproof and weather-resistant options include Silicone, PU, acrylic, and PTFE coatings. Not waterproof options include Bare fiberglass cloth and ceramic fiber cloth (can be laminated or coated as needed). For long-term outdoor exposure, silicone or acrylic-coated fabrics are recommended.
Q:Do your fireproof fabrics meet international flame-retardant standards?

Yes. Many of our fireproof cloth products can achieve: UL94 V0 (depending on coating formulation), EN 13501-1, ASTM E84, GB 8624 A-class (non-combustible). We also provide SGS, ROHS, REACH, MSDS upon request.
Q:Can fireproof fabrics withstand welding sparks and molten metal splash?

Yes. The following fabrics are designed for welding protection and industrial fire shields: Acrylic-coated fiberglass welding blanket, High-silica fabric, Vermiculite coated cloth, Heavy-duty fiberglass fire blanket. These materials resist sparks, slag, grinding sparks, and short-term flame exposure.

Q:Are your fireproof fabrics electrically insulating?

Most materials are naturally electrically non-conductive, including: Fiberglass cloth, Silicone coated fabrics, Ceramic fiber cloth. Note: Carbon fiber fire cloth is conductive and should not be used near live electrical components.
