Q:Is the production process of this cold patch asphalt complicated? Can my existing asphalt mixing plant be used?

Not at all. Our product is specifically designed for local production to save you the high cost of long-distance transportation. Your existing conventional asphalt or cement concrete mixing equipment can be used directly. You only need to pay attention to strictly controlling the heating temperature of the aggregates around (70-80 degrees). High-temperature production is strictly prohibited.

Q:Cold patch materials generally don't have high strength. How does your product ensure durability after repair?

That's a very good question. Our ZTA cold liquid bitumen is formulated with special modifiers and softening agents, providing excellent adhesion and cohesion with aggregates, as well as strong resistance to moisture stripping. As long as the production process is strictly followed (using dry aggregates, keeping discharge temperature below 90 degrees, and storing in sealed bags indoors), the finished material can achieve high durability that requires no secondary repair.

Q:How long can this cold patch material be stored after production? Does it require special storage conditions?

Proper storage is fine, but there are some guidelines to follow. If you plan to use it within one week, it can be stored outdoors in bulk, covered with a waterproof tarp. However, if you need to store it for more than a week, we strongly recommend bagging and sealing it and storing it indoors or at least protecting it from moisture and direct sunlight to prevent aging or dampness.
