Small holes (trachoma stomatal) and silver gray edges are normal due to the mold and inversion spray process. They are not quality problems. Wipe edges with vegetable oil for rust protection.

Wipe it dry and store it in a well-ventilated area. Do not store it in wet places.

Is the cover perfectly flat?

Due to uneven gravity during production, the body and cover may have a slight unevenness, which is normal.
