A:
Yes. Our hydrocyclones are compatible with both water-based and oil-based drilling fluids, as well as weighted/unweighted mud systems. The wear-resistant PU liner maintains stable performance with varying mud viscosities and solid contents.
Q:What is the separation efficiency of your hydrocyclones?
A:
For standard desander hydrocyclones, the removal rate for 74 micro particles is over 95%; for desilter hydrocyclones, the removal rate for 20-40 micro particles is above 90%. Actual efficiency depends on flow rate, inlet pressure, and mud properties.
Q:What inlet pressure is required for optimal performance?
A:
The recommended operating pressure is 0.2-0.3 MPa (2-3 bar). At this range, the cyclone creates a stable centrifugal field to ensure consistent separation efficiency without excessive wear.
Q:What materials are used for the hydrocyclone liners?
A:
We use high-grade wear-resistant polyurethane (PU) as the standard liner material, which offers excellent abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. For high-wear applications, we also provide optional ceramic liners for extended service life.
