Q:What sizes of seamless steel pipe do you offer?
A:
We offer outer diameters from 10mm up to 910mm, wall thickness from 1.0mm to 56mm, and standard lengths of 5.8m, 6m, and 11.8m. Custom lengths and non-standard dimensions are available upon request.
Q:Which standards and material grades can you supply?
A:
We supply according to ASTM, ASME, DIN, and EN standards. Common grades include ASTM A106/A53 Grade A/B, API 5L (X42, X52, X60, X65, X70), ASTM A179, A192, A335 P5/P9/P11, and A333 for low-temperature service. Other grades are available on request.
Q:What are the mechanical properties for API 5L X42 to X70?
A:
For PSL1: minimum tensile 415-565MPa, minimum yield 290-483MPa. For PSL2: tensile range 415-760MPa, yield range 290-621MPa with specified maximums, elongation as per API 5L. Full detailed tables are available in our data sheet.
Q:How do you protect the pipe surface and ends?
A:
The outer surface is coated with black varnish or anti-rust oil. For beveled ends, we apply plastic caps. Plain ends are protected by end caps if requested. Additional coatings like galvanizing or 3PE are available for special orders.
Q:How are the pipes packed for shipment?
A:
Pipes are bundled in hexagon or triangle shapes and secured with heavy-duty steel strips. Beveled ends are fitted with plastic protectors. For export, bundles are loaded into containers or directly into bulk vessels. Custom packaging (wooden crates, shrink wrap) is available upon request.
