Q:Can I use 10G transceivers on the N9K-C9364C-GX
A:
The switch has no native 10G ports, but you can use a QSA adapter (CVR-QSFP-SFP10G) to convert a QSFP28 port to accept SFP+ 10G optics. Note that ports operate in fixed-speed quads (4 ports per ASIC quad) and auto-negotiation is not supported at 10G speed

The GX model features enhanced Cloud Scale Plus ASIC (7nm vs 16nm), 48 MB buffer (vs 36 MB), sub-500ns latency (vs 700ns), 576K route scale (vs 288K), and 400G upgrade readiness. It is optimized for AI/ML workloads
Q:Can this switch operate as both spine and leaf?
A:
Yes, it supports dual roles. The default role is leaf, but you can reconfigure it as a spine through the APIC or CLI. Ports 63-64 are reserved for default fabric links for switch discovery
