Q:What is an RU series crossed roller bearing?

RU series is a one-piece precision crossed roller bearing originated from THK standard. Both inner ring and outer ring are integral structure with pre-machined mounting counterbore holes. Cylindrical rollers are arranged crosswise at 90, capable of bearing radial load, axial load and overturning moment simultaneously.

Q:Does RU bearing have split inner or outer ring?

No. Different from RB/RE split-type crossed roller bearings, RU bearing adopts fully integral inner and outer ring without cutting notch. It will not deform after installation, ensuring ultra-high rotary accuracy.

Q:What is the difference between RU, XSU and SU bearings?

- RU: THK standard, balanced rigidity, compact axial dimension, suitable for precision small and medium-sized rotary mechanisms - XSU: fixed 8mm/14mm section, thicker wall, higher overturning load, applied for heavy-duty large-diameter equipment - SU: Domestic ultra-thin simplified version, reduced wall thickness, low rigidity, only for low-speed light-load non-precision occasions

Q:Do RU bearings need extra flange or pressing plate for installation?

No extra flange required. Pre-drilled counterbore mounting holes on both rings allow direct bolt locking, which saves installation space and simplifies machining work.

Q:Can both inner ring and outer ring rotate?

Yes. The integral symmetrical structure supports bidirectional rotation, whether inner-ring rotating or outer-ring rotating assembly.
