Molecular Weight: UHMWPE has an extremely high molecular weight (typically 3 million+), whereas HDPE has a significantly lower molecular weight. Wear & Impact: UHMWPE offers far superior wear resistance and impact strength. Rigidity & Machining: HDPE provides better rigidity, surface hardness, and is easier to machine and weld.

UHMWPE Rods: Ideal for high-wear, high-impact, and low-friction environments (e.g., wear strips, bushings, star wheels, guide rails, and heavy-duty mechanical parts). HDPE Rods: Best for structural support, light-duty wear parts, chemical-resistant components, and general engineering (e.g., spacers, flanges, pipe fittings, and food-grade cutting boards).

Both are thermoplastics with a continuous service temperature range of approximately -80'C to 80'C (-112'F to 176'F). UHMWPE performs slightly better under low temperatures and stress, but both are prone to creep under high loads at elevated temperatures.

HDPE is more economical due to lower raw material and processing costs. UHMWPE carries a higher price tag (typically 1.5x to 2x the cost of HDPE), but delivers a significantly longer service life in heavy-wear applications.

Colors: Primarily white and black (custom colors like green or blue are available upon request). Dimensions: Diameters range widely (from 10mm up to 300mm+), with standard lengths typically at 1 meter or 2 meters.
