Q:What is the standard size and thickness of your PP sheets?
A:
Our standard size is 1220*2440mm(4*8ft) and 1500*3000mm. Thickness ranges from 1-30mm for extruded sheets, and up to 100mm for pressed plates. Custom sizes and colors are available upon request.
Q:Can PP sheets be used for outdoor applications?
A:
Standard PP is sensitive to UV light. However, we offer UV-stabilized PP sheets specially formulated with anti-UV additives, making them highly durable for long-term outdoor use.
Q:How do PP sheets perform in low temperatures?
A:
Homopolymer PP (PP-H) can become brittle below 0 Centigarde. For cold environments, we highly recommend our Copolymer PP (PP-C) sheets, which provide significantly better impact resistance at low temperatures.
Q:Are your PP sheets safe for food contact?
A:
Yes. Our natural/white PP sheets are made from 100% virgin materials and are fully non-toxic, odorless, and compliant with FDA and SGS food-grade standards.
Q:Is it easy to weld and machine your PP sheets?
A:
Extremely easy. PP has excellent weldability, making it perfect for plastic welding torches and extrusion welders. It is also highly suitable for CNC routing, cutting, drilling, and thermoforming.
