Our motors are suitable for both freshwater and saltwater environments.

Q:For electric-start models, is manual start also available?

Yes. For models T20, T30, T40, and F20, electric-start units also come with a manual start option. However, F50 and F60 electric-start models do not support manual starting; they are equipped with emergency start capability (an emergency start rope is included in the tool kit).

Q:What is the warranty period?

Our standard warranty is 1 year or 500 operating hours, whichever comes first.

Q:How long is the break-in period for your outboard motors?

The break-in period is 10 hours. During this period: First 1 hour: Operate at variable speeds up to 2000 rpm (about half throttle). Second hour: Increase speed to bring the boat on plane (avoid full throttle), then reduce speed while keeping the boat planing. Remaining 8 hours: Operate at any speed, but avoid full throttle for more than 5 minutes at a time. After 10 hours: Normal operation is allowed.

Q:How often should engine oil and gear oil be changed after the break-in?

First replacement at 20 hours (engine oil, oil filter, and gear oil). After that, change every 100 hours or once per year, whichever comes first.
