PTFE coated high silica fabric is a woven high silica fiber fabric treated with a PTFE coating. The high silica substrate provides high temperature resistance while the PTFE coating provides a non stick, low friction and chemically resistant surface.
Q:What is the difference between high silica fabric and fiberglass fabric?

High silica fabric contains a much higher proportion of silica and is designed for higher temperature applications than conventional fiberglass fabric. It is commonly selected for demanding thermal protection applications where standard fiberglass may not provide sufficient temperature resistance.
