A light string trimmer (like the 12V 4-in-1 CG-12A) is the compact, easy option for grass, edging and light weeds. The CG-20A is the higher-power 20V model: an all-copper 750W motor, a 15cm branch-cutting alloy saw blade and a heavier, more stable body. Choose the CG-20A when you have thick brush, small trees and branches to clear, not just a tidy lawn. The CG-12A is better for a small residential lawn and flower beds where lightness matters most.

The CG-20A takes three blade types: a plastic blade for general lawn mowing, a metal blade for complex terrain and tough weeds, and an alloy saw blade for harvesting crops, shrubs and small branches. With the alloy saw blade, the CG-20A cuts trunks and branches up to about 15 cm (6 inch) in diameter. That is the thick brush and small limbs that a string trimmer cannot handle. The CG-20A runs on a 20V rechargeable lithium-ion battery on our Power Share platform. No-load runtime is up to about 120 minutes, and working runtime about 60 minutes per battery.
