The CWT-20A is a 20V cordless wood trimmer (palm router) with a built-in 800W brushless motor running at up to 35000 RPM. It handles chamfering, grooving, edge trimming, mortising and curve cutting on soft and hard wood. The clean-cut channelling is formed in a single pass, with consistent groove depth controlled by the height adjustment fastener - no cable constraints, no uneven finish.

They are the same tool family under different names. A palm router is the compact, one-hand woodworking router used for trimming, chamfering and grooving - in the US market it is usually called a palm router, in Europe and Asia it is often called a wood trimmer. The CWT-20A fits 6.35mm (1/4 inch) router bits, so it is compatible with standard 1/4 inch trim bits.

The CWT-20A runs on the 20V rechargeable lithium-ion POWER SHARE battery platform - one battery fits multiple tools in our cordless family. It ships with a 2.0Ah battery standard, with 4.0Ah and 6.0Ah options available, plus a quick charge base in the kit. The removable battery pack lets you hot-swap to a spare for continuous workshop work.

The dedicated guide frame supports two precision modes. In straight-line mode, the straight-line bracket clamps to the workpiece edge and keeps the trimming line steady and straight, ideal for thick workpieces and long edge trims. In trimming mode, the adjustable guide base positions the bit for accurate edge radius and profile cuts. Combined with the transparent base, you can see the exact cutting line as you move.
