A 2-in-1 hedge and grass trimmer is one handheld power tool that takes two different cutting attachments: a long double-action blade for shaping hedges, bushes and shrubs, and a comb-style blade for edging lawn, ground cover and flower beds. The CHT-20A changes between the two with a quick-release button and no tool, so a single 20V body covers both hedge work and lawn edging. It is the lighter, more portable alternative to owning a separate hedge trimmer and a separate grass trimmer.

The hedge blade is 230mm long with a 100mm trimming width, and the hardening-steel double-action teeth cut cleanly through stems up to about 8mm (0.31 inch) in thickness. That covers most garden hedges, shrubs and ornamental bushes, plus the grass comb blade for lawn edging and low ground cover. The hedge blade is a long, narrow double-action knife made for shaping woody hedges and shrubs - the two rows of teeth move in opposite directions to shear stems cleanly. The grass blade (comb) is a wider, finger-like attachment made for edging lawn, ground cover and flower-bed borders. Both attach to the same body via the quick-release button, so you fit the blade that matches the job.

The cutterhead rotates through 105 degrees so you can angle the blade to the shape you are making. Set it flat for a level top, tilt it for a sloped side, or turn it vertical for a straight face. This lets you create clean, professional shapes - box hedges, rounded shrubs and angled lawn edges - without forcing your wrist.
