The CCP-20A is an orbital (random-orbital) polisher - it uses an eccentric motor so the pad moves in small overlapping circles rather than spinning in one direction. This is the safer choice for paint: the random motion spreads the cutting action, is gentler on clearcoat and makes it much harder to burn or swirl the finish than a single-axis rotary machine. It is well suited to waxing, buffing, polishing and light paint correction.

The CCP-20A uses a 180mm (7-inch) self-adhesive pad, held by a self-adhesive plate so you can swap it in seconds without clamps or locking rings. It fits 180mm foam, wool and microfiber pads for each stage - a cutting pad for oxidation, a foam pad for polishing, and a soft pad for waxing and buffing. The larger pad covers more panel area per pass, so a car is detailed faster than with a smaller polisher.

The three ranges - 0-2600, 2600-3500 and 3500-4200 RPM - let you match the machine to each stage. Low speed is for applying wax and gentle finishing, medium speed is for general polishing, and high speed is for cutting light oxidation and swirl marks. The CCP-20A has a large heat-sink vent that pulls air through the body while you work, keeping the copper-core motor cool so it runs consistently and lasts longer.
