Inherently Flame Retardant: The material itself has excellent flame retardant properties. Many grades achieve UL94 V-0 without additives, effectively preventing flame spread.
High Insulation Resistance: Offers excellent electrical insulation, typically achieving volume resistivity above\(10^{12}\) ohm-centimetre.
Arc Resistance: Certain grades exhibit excellent arc resistance and high Comparative Tracking Index (CTI), ensuring electrical safety under high voltage or humid conditions.
High Strength & Rigidity: When reinforced with glass or carbon fiber, flexural strength can easily exceed 100MPa, reaching 180-200MPa in some cases, offering excellent resistance to deformation.
Dimensional Stability: Low molding shrinkage (<0.6% for some high-performance grades) and very low post-shrinkage, suitable for precision components.
Versatile Processing: Suitable for injection, transfer, and compression molding processes, ideal for high-volume production of complex-shaped parts.

A:
Our phenolic molding compound offers excellent heat resistance, with a Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of up to 200degrees Celsius under 1.82 MPa. The maximum continuous service temperature is typically between 150degrees Celsius and 170degrees Celsius, depending on the specific grade (e.g., glass fiber reinforced grades provide higher thermal stability).
Q:Is your phenolic molding compound flame retardant? Do you have UL certification?
A:
Yes, our material is inherently flame retardant. Most grades can achieve UL94 V-0 rating without additional flame retardant additives. We can provide UL certification and test reports upon request.
Q:What reinforcement options are available, and how do they affect performance?
A:
We offer four main reinforcement types to meet different application needs:
Wood flour or mineral filled to General purpose, good cost-performance. Ideal for household appliances and handles.
Glass fiber reinforced to High strength and high heat resistance. Ideal for structural parts under load.
Carbon fiber reinforced to Premium performance, extremely high stiffness and fatigue strength.

Q:What is the molding shrinkage of our phenolic molding compound?
A:
The molding shrinkage typically ranges from 0.2percent to 1.0percent , depending on the grade and filler system. For high-precision applications, we offer low-shrinkage grades with shrinkage below 0.4 percent. Post-shrinkage after heat treatment (110degrees Celsius) is approximately 0.2percent to0.6 percent.
Q:Can you customize colors, and what is the MOQ for customized grades?
A:
Yes, we support color customization (e.g., black, brown, red, green, etc.). The Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for customized colors is typically 1to2 metric tons. For fully customized formulations (e.g., specific filler or reinforcement type), please contact our sales team for a tailored quote.
