Q:What is the difference between glazing powder and ordinary melamine molding powder?
A:
Common melamine base powder contains cellulose filler for making the main body of tableware. Glazing powder is pure melamine resin without cellulose filler, specially used only for surface bright coating. They need to be used together in production.
Q:Is this glazing powder safe for food contact and children's tableware?
A:
Yes. Our glazing powder is food-contact grade. Heavy metals and free formaldehyde are strictly controlled to meet international food safety standards, so it can be safely applied to kids'melamine tableware.
Q:How to choose the suitable model of melamine glazing powder?
A:
Model LG110 matches A1 melamine base material with fast curing time of 10~12 seconds. LG220 and LG250 are designed for A5 melamine tableware material, featuring synchronized curing and fuller mirror gloss. You can select the grade based on your existing base powder type.
Q:Will the finished melamine products turn white or lose gloss after boiling and dishwashing?
A:
This formula is resistant to boiling water and repeated dishwasher cleaning. No whitening or gloss fading will occur under normal daily use. Slight gloss aging only happens if the product is continuously heated above 180degrees Celsius for a long time.
Q:Can the agglomerated glazing powder still be used normally?
A:
Slight soft lumps can be crushed and used without performance loss. Hard massive agglomeration caused by severe moisture indicates resin deterioration, and such powder is not recommended for tableware production.
