Q:Why is dechlorination required before RO membrane?

This is an oxidizing biocide. Residual free chlo-rine will damage RO membrane materials. Use ProtecMBC1570 or ProtecMBC1571 reducing agent for dechlorination.

Q:What are packaging storage and shelf life requirements ?

Packed in 25kg plastic drums or customized. Store at room temperature, away from light. Keep separated from reducing agents and acids. Shelf life: 1 year.

Q:Is this product corrosive? What safety rules apply?

It is corrosive. Wear proper labor protection gear. Avoid skin and eye contact. Rinse with plenty of clean water immediately upon contact.

Q:Can it be directly dosed before RO membrane?

No. It is only used for pretreatment. Residual oxidant must be neutralized by reducing agent before reaching RO membranes.
