No. The double cone mixer has no internal agitator, blade or paddle. Material moves entirely by gravity tumbling as the cone rotates. This is a zero contact shear mechanism, which is why the double cone is specified for fragile granules, coated pellets and effervescent tablet premix where blade contact would cause breakage and fines generation.

Yes. A spray nozzle port can be fitted to the cone body for liquid addition during rotation. The inlet and all ports are sealed with gaskets rated for the operating pressure during rotation. Liquid addition is standard for feed premix with molasses or vitamin oil, pharmaceutical wet granulation pre wetting and cosmetic binder addition. Specify the liquid addition port requirement at order stage and we size the nozzle for your target spray rate.

The vacuum inlet flange follows standard tri clamp or flanged connection depending on the model configuration. We provide inlet flange dimensions and connection type at order stage so your engineering team can confirm compatibility with the existing vacuum conveyor outlet. Custom inlet configurations are available if your conveyor uses a non standard connection.

For strict regulatory separation between pesticide and food production, we recommend dedicated machines rather than shared equipment. If the machine must be shared, a full validated cleaning protocol with swab testing between product families is required.
