The H1B supports a wide range of drones including DJI series (Phantom, Mavic, Air, Inspire), FPV racers, Xiaomi, Yuneec, Hubsan, Autel (Daotong), Powervision, and Tello. The drone library can be updated online to cover newly released models.
Q:What is the maximum detection distance?
A:
In omnidirectional mode, the detection range is 0-800 meters (tested with DJI AIR2 in an urban environment). In directional finding mode with the directional antenna, the range extends to 100-2000 meters under the same test conditions.
Q:Does the device emit any signals that could interfere with other equipment?
A:
No. The H1B uses fully passive detection based on spectrum sensing. It does not emit any RF signals, so it will not interfere with surrounding communication equipment, other drones, or the environment.
Q:How accurate is the direction finding function?
A:
When switched to directional antenna mode, the probe azimuth accuracy is 17.5 degree (tested with a target 1km away and frequency locked). Direction finding is available for supported drones such as select DJI models, Autel, and Hubsan.
Q:How long does the battery last, and how is it charged?
A:
The built-in 5Ah / 7.4V lithium battery provides 6 hours of continuous operation. It charges in 3 hours via a standard Type-C interface and can be charged using a common Android phone charger.
