Powder coating offers better durability, higher resistance to chipping, scratching, and fading, less environmental impact as it produces less volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and more efficient application as overspray can be recycled.

Powder coating can be applied to a wide range of surfaces, including metal (such as steel, aluminum, and zinc), wood, MDF (medium-density fiberboard), and some plastics, provided they are properly pre-treated.
