100% Virgin PTFE Molded Sheet with FDA Certification for Heat-Insulating Base Plate

This sheet is compression molded from 100% virgin PTFE resin and complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 for food contact. Each batch can be supplied with an FDA compliance statement, MSDS, and ROHS/REACH documents, ensuring direct use in food processing, pharmaceutical, and medical device applications.

Virgin PTFE has good compressive strength at room temperature, but may creep under prolonged high temperature and pressure. If your base plate also bears significant bolt preload or sustained pressure, we recommend filled modified PTFE (e.g., glass fiber or carbon fiber) to greatly improve creep resistance.

Standard thickness is 3-100 mm, width 150-2000 mm, and maximum length 2000 mm. We support custom cutting to your specified length and width, and can also turn, mill, or drill per 2D/3D drawings to deliver a ready-to-install insulating base.

Molded sheet has higher density, lower internal stress, and more uniform properties through the thickness, especially for plates above 30 mm. As an insulating base, it offers better dimensional stability and resists warping under heat, ensuring long-term flat contact.

Virgin PTFE resists virtually all strong acids, bases, and organic solvents. It does not absorb water or age. In humid, salt-spray, or chemically corrosive environments, it remains stable, does not rust or degrade, making it ideal for outdoor or chemical equipment insulation.
