To improve creep resistance, wear resistance, or thermal conductivity, fillers such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, or graphite can be added. However, fillers reduce purity, and filled versions are not FDA-compliant and are for industrial use only. For severe corrosion, pure PTFE is preferred.
