The XGN15-12 (F) and XGN15-12 (F.R) box-type fixed AC metal-enclosedswitchgear (the "switchgear") is designed for 12 kV ring main or radialdistribution systems with a rated current up to 630 A.

The XGN15-12 ring main switchgear cubicle is manufactured fromaluminium-zinc coated steel, galvanised steel or cold-rolled steel sheet,CNC-formed and finished with a powder-coated surface.

It is compartmentalised into four fully segregated sections: the busbarcompartment, switch unit, cable compartment, and the operatingmechanism/control compartment.

A rear pressure-relief duct is provided.The design is compact and practical, with a small footprint, and offersconvenient operation, a robust five-prevention interlocking system.
