It is calibrated for steel with a measuring range of 1-225 mm. It also works for most metals such as copper, aluminum and cast iron by adjusting the material sound velocity from 1000 m/s to 9999 m/s. It is not suitable for porous materials or heavily rough unpolished workpieces.

You can switch the resolution mode directly in the instrument menu. Use 0.01 mm for high-precision thin-wall measurement and 0.1 mm for fast measurement of thick-wall parts. Actual accuracy is also affected by workpiece surface condition and probe coupling performance.

It can save up to 500 groups of data locally. This model only supports on-device data viewing, and it has no USB data export function.

Common causes include rust, burrs or heavy oxide layers on workpiece surface, insufficient couplant, worn probe or over-hot test piece. Polish the surface, apply enough couplant and check the probe before re-measurement. This unit is equipped with coupling-status display for quick troubleshooting.

It is powered by 3 pieces of 1.5V AAA batteries. Actual working hours are subject to the service time of screen backlight. Please replace batteries when the display becomes dim.
