Raw water enters the filter inlet and percolates through a graded media bed. Suspended materials attach to the particles, and clean water exits via the outlet valve. When pressure differential increases, the system triggers an automatic backwash.

Q:How does the automatic backwash process work?

When the pressure differential reaches a preset value, the controller activates the backwash. Pressurized water flows in reverse from the nozzles upwards, suspending the filter bed and washing out dirt particles through the back-flush valve.
