Q:What is the working principle of the sand filter?
A:
Raw water enters the filter inlet and percolates through a graded particle bed. Suspended materials attach to the media, while clean water exits through nozzles. When pressure differential reaches a preset value, the automatic backwash process begins.
Q:How does the automatic backwash process work?
A:
Pressurized water flows in reverse direction from nozzles upwards, suspending the filter bed to release suspended matter. Dirt particles are then washed out through the back-flush valve, controlled by the system's controller.

A:
We offer full customization including media type (Quartz Sand), tank quantities (1-10), tank sizes (16-96'), housing material (Carbon Steel/Stainless Steel), and control methods.
Q:What are the maximum and minimum pressure requirements?
A:
The minimum working pressure is 0.15Mpa (0.2 Bar) and the maximum pressure is 1.0Mpa (10 Bar). The minimum backwash pressure is 2 Bar.

A:
The filter supports three control ways: Differential Pressure, Time-based, and Manual operation.
