A:
It uses deep bed filtration where water passes through a graded particle bed. Suspended materials attach to media, and clean water exits via nozzles. When pressure differential increases, backwashing cleans the bed.

A pressure differential switch senses when the preset limit is reached. It signals the controller to start self-cleaning, where pressurized water flows in reverse to suspend and wash out dirt particles.

A:
