Sand Filter Tank for Drip Irrigation System

Raw water enters the filter inlet and percolates through a thick layer of graded particles (filter bed). Suspended materials attach to the media, while clean water flows out through filtration nozzles. When pressure differential reaches a maximum value, an automatic backwash cleaning process begins.

Cleaning is done by backwashing where pressurized water flows in reverse direction from nozzles upwards, suspending the filter bed and releasing suspended matter. Dirt particles are washed out through the back-flush valve, triggered automatically by a pressure differential switch or controller.

Tank sizes range from 16 to 96 inches, and tank quantities can be customized from 1 to 10 units depending on the specific model and requirements.

The housing is available in Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel with thickness options of 4mm, 6mm, or 8mm to ensure durability.

The maximum working pressure is 10 Bar, with a minimum backwash pressure of 2 Bar and a pressure loss between 0.2 to 0.5 Bar.
