Q:What is the wear-in process for a new machine?

Mix 10 KG oil cake, 1 KG sand, and 1 KG water, put them in the oil press, and wear in for 3-4 hours. Adjust oil cake thickness from 3mm to 2mm over the hours.

Q:What is the difference between cold press and hot press?

Cold press uses dry raw seeds, usually requiring 2 presses. Hot press uses roasted seeds, usually requiring only 1 press. Peanuts need roasting to 125-130 degrees.
