Q:How to choose between shafted and shaftless screw conveyors?
A:
Choose shaftless screw conveyor for sludge, kitchen waste, fibrous & tangled materials, no central shaft to avoid blockage. Shafted U-trough/tubular screw is better for dry powder, grain, pellets & long-distance conveying with lower cost.
Q:Can it be installed inclined or vertically? What is the maximum inclined angle?
A:
Horizontal layout (0 degree) is best. Inclined angle less than or equal to 20 degree for stable conveying; over 25 degree will cause material backflow and lower capacity. Vertical lifting only for short-distance low-flow customized models.
Q:How to confirm the hourly conveying capacity?
A:
Capacity depends on screw diameter, rotation speed, material moisture & inclination. Send us material type, moisture content, required ton/hour and layout angle, we offer free technical solution.
Q:What materials can it convey? Is it available for sludge transportation?
A:
Shaftless model fits municipal sludge, dewatered cake, kitchen waste, screen residue, paper fiber. Shafted type for powder, grain, mine tailings & chemical pellets. Not suitable for large hard stone blocks.
Q:Is variable frequency speed control supported? Can it link with dewatering equipment?
A:
Variable frequency motor optional for adjustable conveying speed. Fully automatic linkage with multi-plate screw press & decanter centrifuge to match sludge output flow.
