AI-Powered supplier vetting

SummaryThe supplier is a China-based trading company established in 2023, with seven employees and a stated 150.0 m² manufacturing-plant area. Its business focuses on melt-blown and other nonwoven filter media for air, liquid, automotive fuel and oil filtration. The supplier reports export activity since 2009, with exports representing 90% of total sales, Europe as a primary export market, peak-season fulfillment of one month, and off-peak lead time within 15 working days. Production-related information indicates three lines, including two 1.6-meter PP automatic lines and one PBT line, while quality-control staffing is below five people. It claims proprietary electret charging equipment and electret master batch technology, as well as more than 12 years of melt-blown production experience. However, no certification records, customer cases, after-sales arrangements, or clear evidence of customization execution are provided. The information also shows a trading-company structure alongside a factory located in...

Supplier typeThe supplier is explicitly identified as a trading company or trading company business entity, registered in Ningbo, Zhejiang, while a factory location is listed in Yueyang, Hunan. This indicates a trading-led structure with associated production resources, but the exact ownership or control relationship with the factory is not established.

R&D capabilityThe supplier states that it developed its own electret charging equipment and electret master batch, using a unique formula intended to improve filtration efficiency and reduce air penetration pressure. It also reports more than 12 years of melt-blown nonwoven production experience, providing explicit evidence of product and process development capability.

Production capacityProduction information includes three lines, comprising two 1.6-meter automatic PP lines and one PBT line, with stated melt-blown output of 1,000 units and off-peak lead time within 15 working days. However, the reported plant area is only 150.0 m², quality-control staffing is below five, and the supplier is legally described as a trading company, so actual manufacturing scale should be verified.

Customization capabilityThe supplier offers multiple melt-blown materials and states that it can source additional filter media, including polyester, composite, PP needle-punched and activated-carbon nonwovens, to meet requirements. It also asks customers to provide detailed specifications, indicating product-range flexibility, although no completed customized project or defined customization parameters are provided.
