Detection Angle 0-25 Degrees Adjustable with Red Dot Positioning: Tilt angle set via ratchet bracket with built-in red dot guide for fast, accurate alignment on site without guesswork.
Aluminum Alloy Housing for Door-Leaf Mounting: Slim 31x20mm profile mounts directly on the door edge with supplied bracket, moving with the door throughout the full swing arc.
NO/NC Relay Output, Multiple Units Chainable: Signal output toggles between NO and NC; multiple sensors connect side-by-side with power and relay wired once to any unit in the chain.

Q:Does this sensor have anti-pinch safety protection?
A:
Yes. The M227L uses TOF laser curtain technology to monitor the door sweep path and immediately sends a stop signal if any person or object is detected, preventing the door from closing on an obstruction.
Q:How many sensors are needed for one swing door?
A:
For a single-leaf swing door, one M227L unit is typically sufficient. If the door height exceeds the sensor length, multiple units can be chained side-by-side with power and relay connected once to any unit in the chain.
Q:Where is the sensor installed?
A:
The M227L mounts directly on the edge of the door leaf itself, with a recommended tilt angle of 15 degrees or more to ensure the laser beams scan away from the door surface. It moves with the door throughout the full swing arc.
Q:What lengths are available?
A:
Five lengths are available: 310mm, 620mm, 750mm, 900mm, and 1200mm. Please specify your required length when ordering.
Q:What is the maximum installation height?
A:
Up to 5m when mounted at a fixed position, and up to 3.5m when mounted on a moving door leaf.
