Q:What is the sensing distance?

The standard sensing distance is 3-8cm. It can be triggered simply by bringing your hand close; you don't need to place it against the panel.
Q:What could be causing the indicator light to not light up?
A:
Check if the power supply wiring is reversed and if the power supply voltage is normal; loose wiring can also cause no light or trigger.
Q:What voltage is required for power supply?
A:
Commonly used is DC12V access control power supply, matched to the access control power supply. Direct connection to 220V high voltage is not supported.
Q:Can it be used for automatic doors?
A:
Yes, it outputs a dry contact signal and can be used as an exit trigger signal for automatic door controllers.
