2p (4-8mm) Two Way Small Outdoor Waterproof Electrical IP66 Junction Boxes

The IP66 rating confirms that the enclosure is completely dust-tight and provides high-level protection against powerful water jets from any direction. It is specifically designed to perform reliably in harsh weather conditions, making it an ideal choice for outdoor lighting and wet environment electrical installations.

While IP66 is designed for heavy rain and water spray (such as hose-downs), it is highly effective for many outdoor lighting scenarios. However, for continuous submersion, we recommend confirming the specific depth requirements. The high-quality polycarbonate housing and reinforced seals ensure superior moisture resistance for most demanding outdoor lighting projects.

Polycarbonate is chosen for its exceptional durability, high impact resistance (often reaching IK08), and excellent thermal stability. It does not rust like metal boxes, making it ideal for coastal or damp areas, and it resists UV degradation, ensuring the housing remains robust even after years of outdoor exposure.

Yes, the compact design allows for quick, surface-mounted installation. The box comes with clear, easy-to-use screw-on lids and pre-drilled or easily punchable entry points, allowing for efficient connection of two cables. We recommend ensuring all cable glands are tightened securely to maintain the IP66 seal integrity.
