Q:What does IP65 mean on this lamp?
A:
Dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It suits a panel that is washed down or rained on; it is not for continuous immersion. If your panel is hosed at high pressure, tell us before ordering and we will quote a higher rating.
Q:Which cut-out size do I need?
A:
Measure the hole, not the lamp. 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 mm, one model for each, and each size fits a panel from 0.8 to 6.0 mm thick. The head measures 8 to 21 mm across depending on the model, so check it clears the parts next to it.
Q:Can I mix voltages in one panel?
A:
Yes. 6-48 V, 110-130 V and 220-240 V AC/DC are separate versions built on the same drawing. Give us the voltage together with the cut-out size when you order.
Q:How is the lamp connected?
A:
Two solder pins, 2.8 x 0.5 mm, on the base - or add the C suffix and the 150 mm lead arrives already fitted. Pins suit a panel wired after the lamp is mounted; the lead suits pre-assembled harnesses.
Q:Which colours can I have?
A:
Red, yellow, green, blue and white, in every cut-out size. Colour changes the lens and the LED only - not the body, the thread or the drawing.
