Q:Why choose bipolar head instead of unipolar head for hemiarthroplasty?
A:
The double-mobility bipolar structure disperses friction force between two liners, greatly reducing abrasion on patients own acetabulum and lowering long-term hip pain and revision rate.
Q:Is this femoral stem cemented only? Can it be press-fit without cement?
A:
This model is specially designed for cemented fixation. The sandblasted surface achieves best bonding effect with bone cement. It is not recommended for cementless press-fit application.
Q:How many sizes do you have for the femoral stem?
A:
We have 12 different diameter sizes for the stem, matched with multiple outer diameter bipolar heads to fit thin and thick femoral medullary cavities.
Q:Can elderly patients start walking early after this hemiarthroplasty?
A:
With cemented stable fixation, most patients can start partial weight-bearing walking 3-5 days after surgery under doctor guidance, effectively avoiding long-term bedridden complications.
