Q:How to choose the suitable bms?

Please tell me below 3 questions: is your battery pack 3.7v li ion or 3.2V lifepo4? how many cells in series of your battery pack? What's the peak power watt of your load or motor? Whar kind of application do you want to use the battery pack for? I will recommend suitable bms for you.

Q:How to active the bms?

For our smart bms,when first use,need to activate first. Method 1: Purchase the power board,there is an activation switch on the board and click the button. Method 2: Press the buttonon the bluetooth module to activate the bms directly. Method 3: Charge activation, B-line must be connected to the total negative pole of the battery pack when charging.

Q:What is the balance function?Do we need cell balance or not?

When your one cell voltage was reached balance voltage(Li-ion 4.18V, LifePo4 3.6V), that cell balance start work, balance resistance starts discharge with 35mA. When the fast cell voltage was reached overcharge voltage (Li-ion 4.25V, Life Po4 3.75V),BMS starts off power protection. However, if your cell voltage difference are in a big range, The equilibrium effect is almost zero,The solution is to replace cells with large voltage gaps.

Q:What type of charger should i choose?

Lithium battery must choose specific charger, don't use charger for leadacid battery. LiFePo4 battery charger voltage = number of battery strings X 3.6V, while Li-ion battery charger voltage = number of battery strings X 4.2V.
