Q:How to choose the suitable BMS?

Please tell me the battery voltage (3.7V Li-ion or 3.2V LiFePO4), number of cells in series, peak power watt of your load or motor, and the application type. I will recommend a suitable BMS for you.

Q:How to activate the BMS?

There are three activation methods: 1) Purchase the power board and click the activation switch. 2) Press the button on the Bluetooth module directly. 3) Charge activation by connecting the B-line to the total negative pole of the battery pack.

Q:What is the balance function and do we need cell balance?

When a cell reaches balance voltage (Li-ion 4.18V, LiFePO4 3.6V), the BMS activates balance resistance (35mA) to discharge that cell while others charge. If the fast cell reaches overcharge voltage (Li-ion 4.25V, LiFePO4 3.75V), power protection stops all charging. If voltage gaps are large, replace cells.
