A:
Please provide: 1. Battery type (3.7V Li-ion or 3.2V LiFePO4), 2. Number of cells in series, 3. Peak power watt of load/motor, and 4. Intended application.
Q:How to activate the BMS?
A:
Three methods: 1. Use the activation switch on the power board, 2. Press the button on the Bluetooth module, 3. Connect B-line to total negative pole during charging.
Q:What is the balance function?
A:
When a cell reaches balance voltage (LiFePO4 3.6V), it discharges at 35mA while others charge. If voltage difference is large, replace cells with large gaps.
Q:What type of charger should I choose?
A:
Use specific lithium chargers. LiFePO4 voltage = strings x 3.6V; Li-ion voltage = strings x 4.2V. Do not use lead-acid chargers.
